Law school didn’t prepare you to run a business.
Let’s face it – when you went to law school, they taught you how to be a lawyer, not a business owner. I’ve been a business owner for over 30 years and had more than 30 employees and have seen it all!
But as a solo attorney, you are a business owner – like it or not. That means, in addition to doing the legal work, you’re responsible for marketing and business development. You’re responsible for managing the finances. You’re responsible for hiring, training, and firing staff.
Sometimes, it feels like too much weight. As a solo, it’s easy to feel isolated and it’s easy to be overwhelmed. Here are some tips to help you manage it all.
