“What Does
Success Look
Like for YOU?”

Paula Black, Business & Professional Development Coach

Let's Focus on the Many POSSIBILITIES...

Paula helped us focus on just two practice areas, how to manage personnel, our time, and to target the type of clients we wanted.

She encouraged us to understand that our time is valuable and it’s our livelihood. That we should focus our time and energy on practicing law in a way that makes us happy. Paula helped us realize that we work to make a living, but that our lives are much more than our practice.

Our firm has grown every year thanks to implementing the advice Paula gave us.

Paula is great and we would not be where we are without her guidance and advice. She is worth every penny!

Paula encouraged me to step beyond my comfort zone and start a niche practice of Interpol defense. I knew I would love doing the work, but I didn’t know how to start a niche practice or how it would affect the rest of my practice.

Paula believed she knew how to make it happen, and she took the time to get to know me both personally and professionally so that we could design a law practice that I loved. As a business development initiative, Paula suggested that I start a blog. Although that sounded daunting, I took a deep breath and started the Red Notice Law Journal.

It turned out to be the best step I ever took to develop my practice. After including Interpol in my practice and starting a blog, I was able to see that both domestic and international government agencies read my blog. Leading human rights organizations in the United States and Europe consulted with me on Interpol issues and clients sought me out. I have become a recognized authority on Interpol matters in both foreign and domestic courts. Paula was right- she knew how to make it happen, and we did.

Paula Black gives me a big-picture perspective. She has been a small business owner for many years and knows the challenges we face running a business. She is a great resource when dealing with HR, financial and business development issues. Over the years, Paula has helped me create a business development strategy that has been the catalyst for my growth.

She fosters a positive mindset—which helps me focus on solutions and possibilities to overcome the obstacles. Working with Paula gives me the peace-of-mind that no matter the challenge there will be someone to help me figure it out. Most importantly to take care of myself so that I can take care of others.

And she never lets me forget what’s really important—my family!
