What to Expect

When We Work Together

Expect a paradigm shift. If you’re not happy with your practice and your life, expect to discover new possibilities. If you feel stuck, expect to have your assumptions challenged, as a client expressed, “The biggest change is getting out of my comfort zone. I am speaking to people I normally would not speak to and going to events I normally would not attend.”

We will begin the coaching journey with a half-day one-on-one Intensive that sets the trajectory for our sessions. It’s an experience that is uniquely yours, there are no preconceived notions, nothing is off limits, and there is absolutely no judgment. This is a safe space to evolve your legal practice into a thriving business: A practice that reflects your personal values – and one that fuels the life you want to live instead of getting in the way.

In this safe space you will confront your current belief system, your habits and your frustrations. During our meetings you will be challenged and inspired. You will define goals and confront obstacles. We will do all this together.

A Change of Perspective

Expect to get out of your own head. Law school prepared you to know the law and serve your clients. But it didn’t prepare you to build a thriving practice that supports your personal or your family goals… did it? I’ll help you to discover a new perspective… and learn how to build a law practice that works in synergy with the rest of your life. I’ll ask questions that will challenge you as we uncover the real issues that are holding you back. As my client attests, “Her honesty and authenticity bring me comfort and make me feel like I have the power to create my own future.”

Your Confidant, Business Consultant, Team Member and Cheerleader

You’re not alone. My personal and professional resources become part of your network. I am available to answer your questions and address your challenges. This will give you the clarity and confidence to forge through the challenges and achieve your goals. “Paula showed me that I could be the change maker, and I had the power – she was right,” a client points out.

I’ll guide you through the challenges that arise. Here, business is also personal. When your professional life is infringing – or in some cases devouring – your personal life, I will help you make sense of the chaos. It’s not about forcing the kind of balance that means all things are equal, it’s about giving each aspect of your life the time it deserves – the time you want to give it in order to have the business and the life you truly want. A client points out, “She helped clarify what my true priorities are.”

I will be a connector, a problem-solver and a motivator. There is no throwing your hands up in the air and deciding to just give up. You won’t – I won’t let you! I will believe in you until you believe in you.

Expect to be asked to reach out, follow up, speak up and make a plan. I will guide you through those things that are beyond your comfort zone and address the parts of your thinking that are holding you back. So you can live life on your terms.

Together, we will evolve your thinking and build a thriving practice that exists in harmony with the rest of your life.
